Description

A delicious pan-seared salmon dish served with a creamy dill sauce, perfect for impressing family and friends.

Ingredients

  • 4 salmon fillets
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • 2 tablespoons olive oil
  • 1/2 cup sour cream
  • 2 tablespoons fresh dill, chopped
  • 1 tablespoon lemon juice
  • 1 garlic clove, minced

Instructions

  1. Season the salmon fillets with salt and pepper.
  2. Heat the olive oil in a skillet over medium-high heat.
  3. Once the oil is hot, add the salmon fillets to the skillet, skin-side down, and cook for approximately 4-5 minutes until the skin is crisp.
  4. Carefully flip the salmon and cook for an additional 3-4 minutes to ensure the salmon cooks through.
  5. While the salmon cooks, prepare the creamy dill sauce by mixing sour cream, dill, lemon juice, and minced garlic in a bowl until well combined.
  6. Serve the pan-seared salmon topped with the creamy dill sauce.

Notes

For perfect results, ensure the skillet is hot enough before adding the salmon. Adjust cooking time according to the thickness of the fillets to avoid overcooking.
