Ingredients
- 2 tuna steaks
- 2 tablespoons lemon pepper seasoning
- 2 tablespoons olive oil
- 1 tablespoon lemon juice
- Salt to taste
- Fresh herbs for garnish (optional)
Instructions
- Preheat a skillet over medium-high heat.
- Rub the tuna steaks with olive oil and lemon juice.
- Season both sides of the steaks with lemon pepper and salt.
- Place the tuna steaks in the hot skillet and sear for 2-3 minutes on each side for medium-rare or longer if desired.
- Remove from heat and let rest for a minute before serving.
- Garnish with fresh herbs if using and serve immediately.
Notes
For best results, ensure tuna steaks are at least one inch thick and allow them to come to room temperature before cooking.
