Description

These zesty shrimp tacos are bursting with fresh cilantro and lime flavors, topped with a creamy slaw for a delightful meal.


Ingredients

  • 1 lb shrimp (peeled and deveined)
  • 1/4 cup fresh cilantro (chopped)
  • 2 tbsp lime juice (freshly squeezed)
  • 8 small corn or flour tortillas
  • 2 cups cabbage (shredded)
  • 1/2 cup mayonnaise
  • 1 tsp chili powder
  • 1 tsp cumin
  • Salt and pepper to taste


Instructions

  1. In a bowl, combine shrimp with lime juice, cilantro, chili powder, cumin, salt, and pepper. Let it marinate for at least 15 minutes.
  2. In another bowl, mix shredded cabbage with mayonnaise, lime juice, salt, and pepper until well combined.
  3. Heat oil in a skillet over medium-high heat. Add marinated shrimp and cook for 3-4 minutes until pink and opaque.
  4. Briefly warm tortillas until pliable.
