Description

A light and refreshing seafood salad featuring shrimp and crab, complemented by fresh vegetables and a tangy dressing.


Ingredients

  • 1 pound shrimp, peeled and deveined
  • 1 cup crab meat
  • 2 celery stalks, finely chopped
  • 1 bell pepper, diced
  • 1 small red onion, finely chopped
  • 1/4 cup fresh parsley, chopped
  • 1/4 cup mayonnaise
  • 2 tablespoons lemon juice
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • Leafy greens for serving


Instructions

  1. Bring a pot of salted water to a boil. Add the shrimp and cook for 2-3 minutes or until they turn pink.
  2. Drain and let the shrimp cool before chopping into bite-sized pieces.
  3. In a large mixing bowl, combine the cooled shrimp, crab meat, celery, bell pepper, red onion, and parsley.
  4. In a separate bowl, mix mayonnaise and lemon juice until smooth, then pour over the seafood mixture.
  5. Gently toss the ingredients together, ensuring everything is well-coated with the dressing. Season with salt and pepper to taste.
