A delicious marinade that enhances the natural flavors of tuna steak with bold and aromatic ingredients.
Ingredients
- ⅓ cup olive oil
- 1 tablespoon honey
- 1 tablespoon minced garlic
- 1 tablespoon finely chopped cilantro
- 1 tablespoon finely chopped parsley
- 1 teaspoon salt
- ½ teaspoon cumin
- ½ teaspoon coarsely cracked black pepper
- ½ teaspoon smoked paprika
- Juice of half a lemon (about 2 tablespoons)
Instructions
- In a mixing bowl, combine olive oil, honey, minced garlic, chopped cilantro, chopped parsley, salt, cumin, cracked black pepper, smoked paprika, and lemon juice. Whisk until well blended.
- Place tuna steaks in a Ziploc bag or shallow dish and pour the marinade over them, ensuring they are fully coated. Seal tightly or cover and refrigerate for at least 30 minutes.
- Preheat grill, skillet, or broiler to medium-high heat. Grill tuna steaks for 6-8 minutes on each side, flipping once. Let them rest for 5 minutes before serving.
