Quick and satisfying tuna patties that are crispy on the outside and tender on the inside, perfect for busy weeknights.
Ingredients
- 1 can of tuna, drained
- 1/2 cup breadcrumbs
- 1/4 cup onion, finely chopped
- 1/4 cup bell pepper, finely chopped
- 1 egg
- 1 tablespoon mayonnaise
- 1 teaspoon Dijon mustard
- Salt and pepper to taste
- Oil for frying
Instructions
- In a bowl, combine the drained tuna, breadcrumbs, chopped onion, chopped bell pepper, egg, mayonnaise, Dijon mustard, salt, and pepper. Mix until well combined.
- Form the mixture into small patties.
- Heat oil in a frying pan over medium heat.
- Fry the patties for about 3-4 minutes on each side until golden brown and crispy.
- Serve warm and enjoy your tuna patties!
Notes
To avoid sogginess, ensure the oil is hot enough during frying and place fried patties on a paper towel to absorb excess oil.
