- 1 can of tuna, drained and flaked
- 1 small onion, finely chopped
- 1 clove of garlic, minced
- 1/2 cup of breadcrumbs
- 1/4 cup of fresh parsley, chopped
- 1 egg, beaten
- Salt and pepper, to taste
- Oil for frying
Instructions
- In a mixing bowl, combine the drained tuna, finely chopped onion, minced garlic, and breadcrumbs.
- Add fresh parsley and beaten egg to the mixture.
- Season with salt and pepper, and mix until all ingredients meld together.
- Heat oil in a frying pan over medium heat.
- Form small patties from the mixture and carefully place them in the hot oil.
- Fry fritters for about 3-4 minutes on each side or until golden brown.
- Remove from the pan and place them on paper towels to absorb excess oil.
Notes
Using a non-stick frying pan can help prevent the patties from sticking. If the mixture seems too wet, add more breadcrumbs to ensure firmness.
