Description

Delightful and crispy tuna fritters that are easy to make and perfect for family gatherings.

Ingredients

  • 1 can of tuna, drained and flaked
  • 1 small onion, finely chopped
  • 1 clove of garlic, minced
  • 1/2 cup of breadcrumbs
  • 1/4 cup of fresh parsley, chopped
  • 1 egg, beaten
  • Salt and pepper, to taste
  • Oil for frying

Instructions

  1. In a mixing bowl, combine the drained tuna, finely chopped onion, minced garlic, and breadcrumbs.
  2. Add fresh parsley and beaten egg to the mixture.
  3. Season with salt and pepper, and mix until all ingredients meld together.
  4. Heat oil in a frying pan over medium heat.
  5. Form small patties from the mixture and carefully place them in the hot oil.
  6. Fry fritters for about 3-4 minutes on each side or until golden brown.
  7. Remove from the pan and place them on paper towels to absorb excess oil.

Notes

Using a non-stick frying pan can help prevent the patties from sticking. If the mixture seems too wet, add more breadcrumbs to ensure firmness.
