A quick and healthy recipe for crispy tilapia fillets seasoned simply, served with fresh lemon.
Ingredients
- 4 tilapia fillets
- 1/2 cup all-purpose flour
- 1 tsp garlic powder
- Salt and pepper to taste
- 1/4 cup unsalted butter
- Fresh lemon wedges for serving
- Fresh herbs for garnish, such as parsley or cilantro
Instructions
- Season both sides of the tilapia fillets with salt, pepper, and garlic powder.
- Dredge each fillet in all-purpose flour, shaking off the excess.
- Melt the unsalted butter in a large skillet over medium heat.
- Add the seasoned tilapia fillets to the skillet and cook for 3-4 minutes on each side until golden brown and flaky.
- Remove the fillets from the skillet and serve immediately with fresh lemon wedges and garnish with fresh herbs.
Notes
For best results, use fresh tilapia and keep an eye on cooking time to avoid drying out the fish.
