Description

Discover how to make delicious TikTok inspired air fryer donut holes with our easy recipe. Crispy on the outside, soft on the inside – a perfect treat!

Ingredients

  • 1 3/4 Cup (420 ml) Pancake Mix
  • 1 Large Ripe Banana
  • 1/4 Cup (60 ml) White Granulated Sugar
  • 1 Teaspoon (5 ml) Ground Cinnamon
  • 1/2 Cup (120 ml) Powdered Sugar
  • 1 Small Ripe Banana
  • 2-Quart or Large r Air Fryer
  • Nonstick Cooking Spray
  • Rubber Gloves (optional )

Instructions

  1. Peel the larger banana and place it in a medium-sized mixing dish. Use a fork to mash it thoroughly.
  2. Introduce the pancake mix into the bowl and mix until the substance begins to form large clumps.
  3. If preferred, put on rubber gloves and apply nonstick cooking spray on your hands (or gloves). Start combining the ingredients by hand. Avoid excessive mixing. Continue kneading by hand until the mixture is fully integrated, even if it feels slightly sticky.
  4. Shape the dough into balls approximately 1 inch in diameter, using about 1 tablespoon of dough per ball, and ensure your hands or gloves remain well-coated in nonstick spray.
  5. Coat the air fryer basket with nonstick spray and arrange as many dough balls as you can fit with at least a 1-inch gap between them, keeping in mind they will expand. Typically, a 2-quart air fryer fits about six balls at once.
  6. Cook the dough balls in the air fryer for 7 minutes at 350°F. With care, remove them from the basket and repeat until all dough is utilized.
  7. You may choose to coat the donut holes with a topping or consume them immediately.
  8. For a cinnamon-sugar coating, mix ¼ cup of white sugar with one teaspoon of ground cinnamon in a small dish, stirring until well combined.
  9. Lightly spray the donut holes with nonstick spray before rolling them in the cinnamon-sugar mixture. Process a few at a time for better coating.
  10. To make a banana glaze, mash the small banana in a bowl using a fork.
  11. Combine the mashed banana with powdered sugar, stirring until the mixture is smooth.
  12. Immerse the donut holes in the banana glaze to cover them completely, then use a fork to lift them out. Set them on parchment paper or a plate.

Notes

  • Consider using whole wheat pancake mix for a healthier alternative.
  • Experiment with adding chopped nuts or chocolate chips for extra texture and flavor.
  • For a lighter coating, dust the donut holes with powdered sugar instead of cinnamon-sugar.
