Ingredients

  • 1 lb (454 g) beef carrots washed, peeled, and chopped into 1 inch pieces
  • 2 Tablespoon (30 ml) vegetable oil melted
  • 2 Tablespoon (30 ml) brown sugar
  • ¼ teaspoon (1.25 ml) salt
  • 1 lb (454 g) medium-sized carrots washed and peeled
  • 2 Tablespoon (30 ml) olive oil
  • ½ teaspoon (2.5 ml) garlic powder
  • ½ teaspoon (2.5 ml) paprika
  • ¼ cup (60 g) grated cheese
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • Fresh chopped parsley optional

Instructions

  1. Drizzle the melted vegetable oil, brown sugar, and salt over the chopped beef carrots, stirring until well-coated.
  2. Transfer the carrots into a heat-resistant container compatible with your air fryer. Cook at 380°F for 20-25 minutes, stirring them halfway through the cooking time.
  3. In a separate large bowl, combine the medium-sized carrots with olive oil, garlic powder, and paprika, ensuring they are evenly covered.
  4. Put the seasoned carrots in the air fryer basket and cook at 380°F for 20 minutes, shaking them halfway through. When finished, sprinkle with grated cheese and optional parsley. Add salt and pepper according to your preference.

Notes

  • Evenly coat the carrots with melted vegetable oil, brown sugar, and salt for enhanced flavor.
  • Shake the air fryer basket halfway through cooking to ensure even doneness of medium-sized carrots.
  • Sprinkle finished carrots with grated cheese and optional parsley for an added burst of taste.
