Ingredients
- 1lb (454g) whole carrots
- 1 Tbsp (14g) vegetable oil
- 3/4 tsp (4g) salt
- 1/2 tsp (3 ml) freshly cracked black pepper
- 1/2 tsp (3 ml) garlic powder
- 1/2 tsp (3 ml) dried dill
- 1 tsp (5 ml) lemon juice (optional)
Instructions
- Rinse, peel, and slice the carrots into 1-inch diagonal pieces, then place them in a large mixing bowl.
- In another small bowl, melt the butter using the microwave. After melting, add the vegetable oil, salt, black pepper, garlic powder, and dried dill to the same bowl. Mix thoroughly to combine the ingredients.
- Drizzle the melted butter mixture over the carrots. Mix well to ensure all the carrot pieces are evenly coated.
- Transfer the seasoned carrots into the air fryer basket. Cook at 370°F for 12-14 minutes until they become tender, making sure to shake the basket halfway through cooking. Once finished, optionally sprinkle with fresh chopped dill.
