Description

Quick and flavorful teriyaki shrimp rice bowls featuring jumbo shrimp, jasmine rice, and fresh toppings.

Ingredients

  • 1/2 pound jumbo shrimp (peeled and deveined)
  • 1/4 cup teriyaki sauce
  • 3 cloves garlic (minced)
  • Kosher salt (to taste)
  • Pepper (to taste)
  • Blackstone Sweet Teriyaki seasoning blend (optional)
  • Cooking oil of choice
  • 2 (8-ounce) microwave pouches jasmine rice
  • 1 large avocado (sliced)
  • 1/4 cup chopped cilantro
  • 2 lime wedges
  • Sauce of choice (yum yum sauce, sriracha, spicy mayo, or more teriyaki sauce)

Instructions

  1. Pat the shrimp dry and place them in a bowl.
  2. Add the teriyaki sauce, minced garlic, kosher salt, and pepper. If desired, include the optional Blackstone Sweet Teriyaki seasoning blend.
  3. Toss the shrimp until everything is well combined. Allow it to marinate for 5 to 10 minutes.
  4. Preheat your skillet or Blackstone griddle over medium heat.
  5. Add cooking oil of your choice to the hot pan.
  6. Introduce the marinated shrimp to the cooking space, sautéing for 3 to 5 minutes and turning them occasionally.
  7. While the shrimp cooks, prepare jasmine rice in the microwave according to package directions.
  8. After everything is ready, fill bowls with the cooked jasmine rice, then add the teriyaki shrimp.
  9. Top with sliced avocado, sprinkle with chopped cilantro, and squeeze fresh lime juice over the top.
  10. Drizzle your chosen sauce on top for an extra kick.

Notes

Fresh lime juice and quality ingredients enhance the flavors. For a vegetarian option, substitute shrimp with firm tofu.
