Ingredients
- 2 halibut fillets
- 2 tablespoons olive oil
- 1 lemon (juiced and zested)
- 1 tablespoon capers
- 2 cloves garlic (minced)
- Salt and pepper to taste
- Fresh parsley (for garnish)
Instructions
- Preheat the oven to 375°F (190°C).
- Season the halibut fillets with salt and pepper.
- Heat olive oil in a skillet over medium heat.
- Add garlic and cook until fragrant, about 1 minute.
- Stir in lemon juice, lemon zest, and capers.
- Place the halibut fillets in the skillet and spoon the sauce over the top.
- Transfer the skillet to the oven and bake for 15–20 minutes or until the fish is flaky.
- Garnish with fresh parsley before serving.
