Ingredients
- – 1.1 pounds (500 g) beef bacon, trimmed and cut in half
- – 1 tablespoon (15 ml) vegetable oil
- – 1/2 teaspoon (3 ml) fine salt (sea salt is fine too)
- – Few cracks of black pepper (about 1/8 tsp (1 ml))
- – 3 tablespoons (45 ml) sweet fruit sauce (if you prefer just enough sauce, reduce to 2 tbsp (30 ml))
Instructions
- Take the beef bacon that has been trimmed and halved, and put it in a bowl. Add the vegetable oil, fine salt, and black pepper. Stir thoroughly to ensure the bacon pieces are evenly covered, then place them in the air fryer basket.
- Cook in the air fryer at 375°F for around 15 minutes, or until the bacon turns dark brown and crispy on the outside and no longer tastes uncooked.
- Take the bacon out of the air fryer and return it to the bowl. Pour the sweet fruit sauce over the bacon and toss until each piece is well-coated.
- Move to a serving dish and enjoy while it’s hot!
Notes
- 1. Opt for lean beef bacon for a healthier dish with reduced fat.
- 2. Experiment with various sweet fruit sauces to achieve the ideal flavor balance.
- 3. Remember to monitor the bacon in the air fryer regularly to prevent it from burning.
