Description

Delicious stuffed shrimp with a creamy savory filling, perfect for gatherings or quiet dinners.


Ingredients

  • 2 lbs 16-20 shrimp, deveined and butterflied
  • 1 tbsp olive oil
  • 2 tsp smoked paprika
  • 1 tsp Old Bay seasoning
  • 1 tsp garlic powder
  • 1 tsp onion powder
  • 1/2 tsp Italian seasoning
  • 1/2 tsp pepper
  • 8 oz lump or claw crab meat (optional)
  • 1 cup cooked spinach
  • 6 oz chopped artichokes
  • 1 cup mayo
  • 1 tbsp Dijon mustard
  • 1 tsp Worcestershire sauce
  • 1/2 cup Italian breadcrumbs
  • 8 oz cheese
  • 1 tbsp minced garlic
  • 1 tbsp fresh lemon juice
  • Zest of 1 lemon
  • Drizzle of melted unsalted butter mixed with minced garlic


Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 350 degrees.
  2. Combine olive oil with smoked paprika, Old Bay seasoning, garlic powder, onion powder, Italian seasoning, and pepper in a bowl.
  3. Toss the deveined and butterflied shrimp in the mixture until well coated.
  4. Prepare the filling by mixing crab meat (if using), cooked spinach, chopped artichokes, mayo, Dijon mustard, Worcestershire sauce, breadcrumbs, cheese, minced garlic, and a pinch of garlic salt in another bowl.
  5. Stuff each butterflied shrimp generously with the filling.
  6. Arrange the stuffed shrimp on a baking sheet and bake until cooked through, approximately 20-25 minutes.
  7. Drizzle a mixture of melted unsalted butter with garlic and lemon juice over the stuffed shrimp before serving.

Notes

Allow the shrimp to marinate for an hour for enhanced flavor. Customize the filling with different herbs or spices to suit your taste.
