Description

Delicious and easy-to-make stuffed baked mussels that are perfect for gatherings or cozy nights in.


Ingredients

  • 1 dozen mussels, cleaned and opened
  • 1 cup breadcrumbs
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1/2 cup Parmesan cheese, grated
  • 2 tablespoons fresh parsley, chopped
  • 1/4 cup olive oil
  • Salt and pepper to taste


Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C).
  2. Combine the breadcrumbs, garlic, Parmesan cheese, parsley, olive oil, salt, and pepper in a mixing bowl.
  3. Fill each mussel shell with the breadcrumb mixture.
  4. Place the stuffed mussels on a baking sheet.
  5. Bake in the preheated oven for 12-15 minutes, or until golden and crispy.
  6. Serve hot as an appetizer or main dish.

Notes

For added heat, consider mixing in red pepper flakes with the breadcrumb mixture.
