Description

A hearty and flavorful dish of sticky beef noodles that perfectly combines savory soy sauce, brown sugar, and tender beef for a satisfying meal.

Ingredients

  • 8 oz noodles (your choice)
  • 1 lb beef (sliced thinly)
  • 1/4 cup soy sauce
  • 2 tbsp brown sugar
  • 1 tbsp cornstarch
  • 2 cloves garlic (minced)
  • 1 tbsp ginger (grated)
  • 1 tbsp vegetable oil
  • Green onions (for garnish)
  • Sesame seeds (for garnish)

Instructions

  1. Cook the noodles according to package instructions; drain and set aside.
  2. In a bowl, mix soy sauce, brown sugar, cornstarch, garlic, and ginger.
  3. In a large skillet, heat vegetable oil over medium-high heat.
  4. Add the sliced beef and cook until browned.
  5. Pour the sauce mixture over the beef and stir to combine. Cook for 2-3 minutes until the sauce thickens.
  6. Add the cooked noodles to the skillet, tossing to coat them in the sauce.
  7. Serve hot, garnished with green onions and sesame seeds.

Notes

Consider marinating the beef in soy sauce for added flavor. Optional garnishes include crushed red pepper or sautéed bell peppers for extra color and crunch.
