A delightful and nutritious sushi bowl featuring spicy tuna, creamy avocado, and crunchy cucumber, perfect for a quick meal.
Ingredients
- 1 can of tuna, drained
- 1/4 cup spicy mayo (mayonnaise mixed with sriracha)
- 1 cup sushi rice
- 1 1/4 cups water
- 1 tablespoon rice vinegar
- 1 cucumber, sliced
- 1 avocado, sliced
- 2 green onions, chopped
- Soy sauce, for serving
- Sesame seeds, for garnish
Instructions
- Rinse sushi rice under cold water until the water runs clear. Place the rice and water in a rice cooker and cook according to the manufacturer’s instructions. Once cooked, mix in one tablespoon of rice vinegar and let it cool.
- In a bowl, combine the drained tuna with spicy mayo and mix well until the tuna is thoroughly coated.
- Assemble the bowl by placing a generous serving of sushi rice at the bottom.
- Top the rice with the spicy tuna mix, cucumber slices, avocado, and chopped green onions.
- Drizzle with soy sauce and finish with a sprinkle of sesame seeds on top.
- Serve immediately and enjoy the explosion of flavors!
