Description

A delightful appetizer featuring crispy rice topped with spicy ahi tuna and creamy avocado, creating a perfect blend of textures and flavors.


Ingredients

  • 1 cup sushi rice
  • 2 tablespoons rice vinegar
  • 1 teaspoon salt
  • 1 teaspoon sugar
  • 1 avocado, sliced
  • 1 cup spicy ahi tuna, diced
  • 1 jalapeño, sliced
  • 2 tablespoons sesame oil
  • Nori (optional)
  • Soy sauce (for serving)


Instructions

  1. Cook sushi rice according to package instructions and season with rice vinegar, salt, and sugar.
  2. Press the seasoned rice into a rectangular mold and refrigerate until firm.
  3. Once set, cut the rice into crispy rectangles.
  4. Heat sesame oil in a pan and fry the rice rectangles until golden and crispy.
  5. Top each crispy rice piece with a slice of avocado and a dollop of spicy ahi tuna.
  6. Garnish with a slice of jalapeño and serve with soy sauce.
