Ingredients
- 1 pound cooked shrimp, peeled and deveined
- 2 cups sushi rice
- 1 avocado, sliced
- 1 cucumber, sliced
- 1/4 cup mayonnaise
- 1 tablespoon sriracha
- Soy sauce, for serving
- Nori sheets, cut into strips (optional)
- Sesame seeds, for garnish
Instructions
- Cook sushi rice according to package instructions and let it cool.
- In a bowl, mix the mayonnaise and sriracha together to make a spicy mayo.
- In a round mold or using a glass, layer the ingredients starting with a layer of sushi rice, then add a layer of shrimp, followed by avocado and cucumber slices.
- Repeat the layering until you reach the top of the mold.
- Carefully remove the mold to reveal your stacks.
- Drizzle with spicy mayo and sprinkle sesame seeds on top.
- Serve immediately with soy sauce on the side.
Notes
Experiment with different vegetables or sushi-grade fish for variety. Adjust the spicy mayo according to personal heat preference.
