Description
A quick and satisfying dish featuring shrimp sautéed in a rich spicy garlic butter sauce.
Ingredients
- 200g large or jumbo shrimp
- 1 tbsp minced garlic
- 1/4 tsp salt
- 1/4 tsp black pepper powder
- 1 tsp paprika powder
- 1 tsp red chili flakes
- 1 tbsp cold butter
- 1 tsp lemon juice
- 3 tbsp olive oil
- 2 tbsp chopped fresh parsley or cilantro
Instructions
- Heat the olive oil in a skillet over medium-high heat.
- Add the minced garlic and sauté until fragrant, about 30 seconds.
- Season the shrimp with salt, black pepper, paprika, and red chili flakes, ensuring even coating.
- Place the shrimp in the skillet, cooking for 2-3 minutes on each side until bright pink and curled.
- Reduce the heat to low, add cold butter and lemon juice, and stir gently until the butter melts and coats the shrimp.
- Sprinkle chopped parsley or cilantro over the shrimp.
- Remove from heat and serve immediately.
Notes
For a spicier version, increase the amount of red chili flakes or paprika.
