A delightful dish featuring al dente spaghetti tossed with perfectly cooked shrimp and a rich, creamy garlic aioli.
Ingredients
- 8-10 cloves garlic, chopped
- 1/2 bundle Italian parsley, chopped
- 1/2-1/3 tbsp olive oil for sautéing
- 12 oz spaghetti
- 16 oz extra-large shrimp, peeled and deveined
- 1/2 tsp salt
- 1/2 tsp black pepper
- 1 tsp chili flakes
- 1 tsp paprika
- Additional olive oil for seasoning shrimp
Instructions
- Cook spaghetti according to package instructions in boiling salted water. Reserve some pasta water for later use.
- In a sauté pan, heat olive oil over medium heat until shimmering.
- Add chopped garlic and cook until fragrant, about 1-2 minutes, being careful not to let it burn.
- Season shrimp with salt, black pepper, chili flakes, and paprika. Toss the shrimp to coat evenly.
- Add seasoned shrimp to the pan and cook until pink and opaque, approximately 2-3 minutes on each side.
- Combine cooked spaghetti with shrimp in the sauté pan, tossing gently to coat with the remaining oil. Add a splash of reserved pasta water if needed for moisture.
- Drizzle with creamy garlic aioli and garnish with chopped parsley before serving.

Ensure shrimp are thoroughly patted dry before seasoning for better spice adhesion.
