Ingredients
- 1 pound fresh shrimp, peeled and deveined
- 3 cloves garlic, minced
- 4 tablespoons unsalted butter
- 2 tablespoons fresh lemon juice
- ¼ cup fresh parsley, chopped
- Salt and pepper to taste
- 2 tablespoons olive oil
- Optional: red pepper flakes for a kick
Instructions
- Start by preparing your ingredients: peel and devein the shrimp, and set aside.
- In a large skillet, heat olive oil over medium-high heat.
- Add the minced garlic and sauté until fragrant, about 1 minute.
- Lower the heat to medium and add the butter, letting it melt completely.
- Place the shrimp in the skillet, seasoning with salt, pepper, and optional red pepper flakes.
- Cook until shrimp turn pink, approximately 2-3 minutes on each side.
- Squeeze fresh lemon juice over the dish and garnish with chopped parsley before serving.
