Description

Delicious shrimp tacos that combine fresh shrimp with vibrant flavors of lime and spices, perfect for a weekend meal.


Ingredients

  • 1 lb fresh shrimp, peeled and deveined
  • 2 tbsp olive oil
  • 3 cloves minced garlic
  • 2 tbsp lime juice
  • 1 tsp cumin
  • 1 tsp chili powder
  • Salt to taste
  • Pepper to taste
  • 8 corn or flour tortillas
  • Optional toppings: diced avocado, chopped cilantro, onion, and salsa


Instructions

  1. In a bowl, mix olive oil, minced garlic, lime juice, cumin, chili powder, salt, and pepper. Add the shrimp and marinate for 15 minutes.
  2. Heat a skillet over medium heat and add the marinated shrimp. Cook for 2-3 minutes on each side until opaque and slightly golden.
  3. Warm the tortillas in another skillet for about 30 seconds on each side.
  4. Assemble the tacos by placing cooked shrimp on the tortillas and add desired toppings.
  5. Drizzle with additional lime juice and enjoy!
