Delicious shrimp tacos that combine fresh shrimp with vibrant flavors of lime and spices, perfect for a weekend meal.
Ingredients
- 1 lb fresh shrimp, peeled and deveined
- 2 tbsp olive oil
- 3 cloves minced garlic
- 2 tbsp lime juice
- 1 tsp cumin
- 1 tsp chili powder
- Salt to taste
- Pepper to taste
- 8 corn or flour tortillas
- Optional toppings: diced avocado, chopped cilantro, onion, and salsa
Instructions
- In a bowl, mix olive oil, minced garlic, lime juice, cumin, chili powder, salt, and pepper. Add the shrimp and marinate for 15 minutes.
- Heat a skillet over medium heat and add the marinated shrimp. Cook for 2-3 minutes on each side until opaque and slightly golden.
- Warm the tortillas in another skillet for about 30 seconds on each side.
- Assemble the tacos by placing cooked shrimp on the tortillas and add desired toppings.
- Drizzle with additional lime juice and enjoy!
