A comforting bake that combines garlicky, buttery shrimp with tender linguine and rich cream, topped with gooey Parmesan cheese.
Ingredients
- 1 pound shrimp, peeled and deveined
- 8 ounces linguine pasta
- 1/2 cup butter
- 4 cloves garlic, minced
- 1/2 cup heavy cream
- 1 cup grated Parmesan cheese
- 1 tablespoon lemon juice
- 1 teaspoon lemon zest
- Salt and pepper to taste
- Fresh parsley for garnish
Instructions
- Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C).
- Cook the linguine according to package instructions until al dente, then drain.
- In a large skillet, melt the butter over medium heat. Add the garlic and sauté until fragrant.
- Add the shrimp and cook until pink and opaque, about 2-3 minutes.
- Stir in the heavy cream, lemon juice, lemon zest, salt, and pepper.
- Combine the cooked linguine with the shrimp mixture and half of the Parmesan cheese.
- Pour into a baking dish and top with the remaining Parmesan cheese.
- Bake for 20-25 minutes until bubbly and golden.
- Garnish with fresh parsley before serving.
Notes
For a crunchy topping, consider adding breadcrumbs mixed with a little melted butter before baking.
