Description
Delicious shrimp crab melts with a savory filling of seafood and creamy cheese, wrapped in flaky biscuits.
Ingredients
- 1 can of refrigerated flaky biscuits (8 count)
- 3/4 cup of cooked shrimp, chopped
- 3/4 cup of lump crab meat
- 1 cup of shredded mozzarella cheese
- 2 oz cream cheese, softened
- 1/2 teaspoon of Old Bay seasoning
- 1 tablespoon of fresh parsley, chopped
- 1 tablespoon of butter, melted (for brushing)
Instructions
- Preheat your oven to 375°F.
- Flatten each biscuit slightly on a baking sheet.
- Combine the chopped shrimp, lump crab meat, shredded mozzarella cheese, softened cream cheese, Old Bay seasoning, and chopped parsley in a bowl.
- Spoon the filling onto half of the biscuits.
- Top with the remaining biscuits. Pinch the edges to seal and press lightly.
- Brush the tops with melted butter.
- Bake for 13–15 minutes, or until the biscuits are golden brown.
- Let them rest for 2 minutes, then slice or serve whole.
Notes
For a richer color on the biscuits, consider using an egg wash instead of butter.
