Delicious shrimp and crab garlic bombs that are crispy on the outside, tender on the inside, and perfect for sharing at gatherings.
Ingredients
- 1 lb raw shrimp (peeled and deveined)
- 1/2 lb lump crab meat (well-drained)
- 4 cloves garlic (minced)
- 1/4 cup breadcrumbs (or crushed crackers)
- 1/4 cup grated Parmesan cheese
- 1 egg (beaten)
- 2 tbsp fresh parsley (chopped)
- 1 tsp smoked paprika
- 1/2 tsp salt
- 1/4 tsp black pepper
- 1/4 cup olive oil (or melted butter)
Instructions
- Preheat oven to 375°F (190°C).
- In a large mixing bowl, combine shrimp, crab meat, minced garlic, breadcrumbs, and Parmesan cheese.
- Stir in the beaten egg, parsley, smoked paprika, salt, and black pepper until well mixed.
- Scoop out portions and shape into small balls, about the size of golf balls.
- Place the formed bombs on a baking sheet lined with parchment paper.
- Drizzle olive oil or melted butter over the bombs.
- Bake for 15-20 minutes until golden brown and cooked through.
- Serve warm with lemon wedges on the side.
Notes
Experiment with different herbs or spices for added flavor and consider rolling the bombs in extra breadcrumbs for crunch.
