Ingredients
- 8 ounces fettuccine
- 1 pound shrimp, peeled and deveined
- 2 tablespoons olive oil
- 2 cloves garlic, minced
- 1 cup heavy cream
- 1 cup grated Parmesan cheese
- Salt and pepper to taste
- Parsley for garnish (optional)
Instructions
- Cook the fettuccine according to package instructions. Drain and set aside.
- In a large skillet, heat olive oil over medium heat. Add the shrimp and cook until pink, about 2-3 minutes.
- Add the minced garlic and cook for another minute.
- Pour in the heavy cream and bring to a gentle simmer.
- Stir in the Parmesan cheese until melted and the sauce is smooth. Season with salt and pepper.
- Add the cooked fettuccine to the skillet and toss to coat in the sauce.
- Serve immediately, garnished with parsley if desired.
