Description

A rich and creamy Shrimp Alfredo recipe that combines tender shrimp with fettuccine in a luscious Alfredo sauce, perfect for any occasion.


Ingredients

  • 8 ounces fettuccine
  • 1 pound shrimp, peeled and deveined
  • 2 tablespoons olive oil
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 cup heavy cream
  • 1 cup grated Parmesan cheese
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • Parsley for garnish (optional)


Instructions

  1. Cook the fettuccine according to package instructions. Drain and set aside.
  2. In a large skillet, heat olive oil over medium heat. Add the shrimp and cook until pink, about 2-3 minutes.
  3. Add the minced garlic and cook for another minute.
  4. Pour in the heavy cream and bring to a gentle simmer.
  5. Stir in the Parmesan cheese until melted and the sauce is smooth. Season with salt and pepper.
  6. Add the cooked fettuccine to the skillet and toss to coat in the sauce.

Reserve a bit of pasta cooking water to adjust the sauce consistency if needed.
