Description

A rich and creamy Shrimp Alfredo dish that combines succulent shrimp, fettuccine pasta, and a luscious Parmesan sauce, perfect for a weeknight dinner or special occasion.


Ingredients

  • 8 oz fettuccine pasta
  • 1 lb shrimp, peeled and deveined
  • 2 tablespoons olive oil
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 cup heavy cream
  • 1 cup grated Parmesan cheese
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • Chopped parsley for garnish


Instructions

  1. Cook the fettuccine pasta according to package instructions. Drain and set aside.
  2. Heat olive oil in a large skillet over medium heat. Add shrimp and garlic, and sauté until the shrimp are pink and cooked through, about 3-5 minutes.
  3. Lower the heat and add heavy cream to the skillet, stirring continuously.
  4. Gradually stir in Parmesan cheese until the sauce is creamy and smooth. Season with salt and pepper.
  5. Toss the cooked fettuccine in the sauce until well coated.
  6. Serve hot, garnished with chopped parsley.

Notes

For best results, prep all ingredients beforehand and watch the heat when adding the cream to prevent it from curdling.
