Description

A delightful and effortless sheet pan shrimp boil with jumbo shrimp, kielbasa, and sweet corn, perfect for communal dining.

Ingredients

  • 1 lb jumbo shrimp (peeled, deveined with tails on)
  • 1 smoked kielbasa turkey sausage (chopped)
  • 4 ears of corn (cut into 2-inch pieces)
  • 2 cups small baby Dutch potatoes (halved)
  • 1 medium white onion (quartered)
  • 1 small red onion (quartered)
  • 1 tbsp garlic paste
  • 4 tbsp butter (melted)
  • 2 tsp Old Bay seasoning
  • 2 tsp smoked paprika
  • 2 tsp garlic butter seasoning or garlic powder
  • Kosher salt to taste
  • 1 tbsp lemon juice
  • Fresh parsley to garnish
  • Lemon wedge to serve

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 400 degrees.
  2. Add the corn and potatoes to a steam pot, steaming for about 5 minutes until partially cooked.
  3. Combine the steamed corn, potatoes, chopped sausage, quartered onions, and garlic paste on a sheet pan.
  4. Drizzle with melted butter and sprinkle 1 tablespoon of garlic butter seasoning blend over the mixture.
  5. Bake in the oven for 10-12 minutes until fragrant and vegetables are partially cooked.
  6. Season the shrimp with the reserved garlic butter seasoning.
  7. Remove the pan from the oven and add the shrimp, mixing gently.
  8. Drizzle with additional melted butter and squeeze fresh lemon juice over the corn and potatoes.
  9. Return the sheet pan to the oven and bake for an additional 5-7 minutes until the shrimp is cooked through and tender.
  10. Serve hot, garnished with fresh parsley and alongside lemon wedges.

Notes

Avoid overcrowding the baking sheet for even cooking. Consider marinating shrimp in lemon juice for extra flavor.
