Ingredients
- 2 cups sushi rice
- 4 sheets nori
- 8 pieces shrimp tempura
- 2 tablespoons spicy mayonnaise
- 1 avocado, sliced
- 1 cucumber, julienned
- 1 tablespoon sesame seeds
- 2 tablespoons eel sauce
Instructions
- Cook sushi rice according to package instructions and let it cool.
- Place a sheet of nori on a bamboo mat.
- Wet your hands and spread a layer of sushi rice over the nori, leaving an inch at the top.
- Lay shrimp tempura, avocado, and cucumber in the center of the rice.
- Drizzle spicy mayonnaise over the filling.
- Roll the sushi tightly using the bamboo mat.
- Slice the roll into pieces and garnish with sesame seeds and eel sauce.
- Serve with soy sauce on the side.
Notes
Use day-old rice for better rolling. Keep a damp cloth to clean the knife between cuts.
