Ingredients
- 2 Sashimi grade ahi tuna steaks
- 2 tablespoons Sesame seeds
- 2 tablespoons Soy sauce
- 1/4 cup Fresh herbs (cilantro, green onions)
- Salt, to taste
- Pepper, to taste
- 2 tablespoons Olive oil
Instructions
- Preheat a skillet over medium-high heat and add olive oil.
- Season the ahi tuna with salt and pepper on all sides.
- Coat the tuna with sesame seeds, pressing them in gently.
- Place the tuna in the heated skillet and sear for about 1-2 minutes on each side for rare, or cook longer for desired doneness.
- Remove from heat and let it rest for a minute.
- Slice the tuna and drizzle with soy sauce.
- Garnish with fresh herbs before serving.
