A quick and satisfying seafood pasta salad featuring crab, shrimp, and crunchy vegetables, dressed in a creamy mayonnaise-based dressing.
Ingredients
- 8 oz pasta (e.g., rotini or fusilli)
- 1 cup cooked crab meat
- 1 cup cooked shrimp, peeled and deveined
- 1/2 cup diced bell pepper
- 1/2 cup diced celery
- 1/4 cup red onion, finely chopped
- 1 cup cherry tomatoes, halved
- 1/2 cup mayonnaise
- 2 tablespoons lemon juice
- 1 tablespoon Dijon mustard
- Salt and pepper to taste
- Fresh parsley, chopped (for garnish)
Instructions
- Cook the pasta according to package instructions. Drain and let it cool.
- In a large bowl, combine the crab meat, shrimp, bell pepper, celery, red onion, and cherry tomatoes.
- In another bowl, whisk together the mayonnaise, lemon juice, Dijon mustard, salt, and pepper.
- Add the cooled pasta to the seafood mixture and pour the dressing over it. Toss gently to combine.
- Chill in the refrigerator for at least 30 minutes before serving.
- Garnish with fresh parsley and serve.
Notes
For an extra kick, consider adding more lemon juice or Dijon mustard to taste. This salad can be customized with seasonal vegetables and is best served chilled.
