Description

A mouthwatering seafood garlic bread topped with succulent shrimp and lump crab meat, perfect as a starter or alongside main courses.


Ingredients

  • 1 loaf of Italian or French bread
  • 1/2 cup unsalted butter, softened
  • 4 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1/4 teaspoon salt
  • 1/4 teaspoon black pepper
  • 1/2 cup grated Parmesan cheese
  • 1 cup cooked shrimp, chopped
  • 1 cup lump crab meat
  • 2 tablespoons fresh parsley, chopped
  • 1 tablespoon lemon juice


Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C).
  2. Mix softened butter, minced garlic, salt, pepper, and Parmesan cheese until well combined.
  3. Cut the loaf of bread in half lengthwise and spread the garlic butter mixture evenly on both halves.
  4. Combine chopped shrimp, crab meat, parsley, and lemon juice in a separate bowl.
  5. Spread the seafood mixture over the buttered bread.
  6. Place the bread on a baking sheet and bake for 12-15 minutes or until the edges are golden and crispy.
  7. Remove from the oven, let cool slightly, then slice and serve warm.

Notes

For extra flavor, use freshly minced garlic and consider adding crushed red pepper flakes for a kick. Serve with marinara sauce for dipping.
