Ingredients
- 1 loaf of Italian or French bread
- 1/2 cup unsalted butter, softened
- 4 cloves garlic, minced
- 1/4 teaspoon salt
- 1/4 teaspoon black pepper
- 1/2 cup grated Parmesan cheese
- 1 cup cooked shrimp, chopped
- 1 cup lump crab meat
- 2 tablespoons fresh parsley, chopped
- 1 tablespoon lemon juice
Instructions
- Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C).
- Mix softened butter, minced garlic, salt, pepper, and Parmesan cheese until well combined.
- Cut the loaf of bread in half lengthwise and spread the garlic butter mixture evenly on both halves.
- Combine chopped shrimp, crab meat, parsley, and lemon juice in a separate bowl.
- Spread the seafood mixture over the buttered bread.
- Place the bread on a baking sheet and bake for 12-15 minutes or until the edges are golden and crispy.
- Remove from the oven, let cool slightly, then slice and serve warm.
Notes
For extra flavor, use freshly minced garlic and consider adding crushed red pepper flakes for a kick. Serve with marinara sauce for dipping.
