Description
Quick and flavorful tuna steaks marinated in soy sauce, ginger, and honey, perfect for busy weeknights.
Ingredients
- 2 tuna steaks
- 2 tablespoons soy sauce
- 1 tablespoon fresh ginger, grated
- 2 tablespoons sesame oil
- 1 tablespoon honey
- 1 garlic clove, minced
- Salt and pepper, to taste
- Chopped green onions, for garnish
Instructions
- In a bowl, whisk together soy sauce, ginger, sesame oil, honey, and garlic.
- Place the tuna steaks in a shallow dish and pour the marinade over them. Let marinate for at least 30 minutes.
- Preheat a grill or skillet over medium-high heat.
- Remove the tuna from the marinade and season with salt and pepper.
- Cook the tuna steaks for 2-3 minutes on each side for medium-rare or until desired doneness.
- Garnish with chopped green onions and serve immediately.
Notes
Marinate for up to two hours for deeper flavor, but do not exceed that to avoid excess saltiness.
