Description

Quick and flavorful tuna steaks marinated in soy sauce, ginger, and honey, perfect for busy weeknights.

Ingredients

  • 2 tuna steaks
  • 2 tablespoons soy sauce
  • 1 tablespoon fresh ginger, grated
  • 2 tablespoons sesame oil
  • 1 tablespoon honey
  • 1 garlic clove, minced
  • Salt and pepper, to taste
  • Chopped green onions, for garnish

Instructions

  1. In a bowl, whisk together soy sauce, ginger, sesame oil, honey, and garlic.
  2. Place the tuna steaks in a shallow dish and pour the marinade over them. Let marinate for at least 30 minutes.
  3. Preheat a grill or skillet over medium-high heat.
  4. Remove the tuna from the marinade and season with salt and pepper.
  5. Cook the tuna steaks for 2-3 minutes on each side for medium-rare or until desired doneness.
  6. Garnish with chopped green onions and serve immediately.

Notes

Marinate for up to two hours for deeper flavor, but do not exceed that to avoid excess saltiness.
