Ingredients
- 2 tbsp Butter (softened)
- 2 tbsp Mayonnaise
- 1/4 cup Parmesan cheese (freshly grated)
- 2 tbsp Green onion (chopped)
- 2 cloves Garlic (crushed)
- 1 dash Tabasco, to taste
- Salt, to taste
- Pepper, to taste
- 1/2 tbsp Lemon juice
- 2 pieces Halibut fillets (1 inch thick)
Instructions
- Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C).
- In a mixing bowl, combine the softened butter and mayonnaise. Mix well to create a smooth base.
- Add the freshly grated Parmesan cheese, chopped green onion, crushed garlic, Tabasco, lemon juice, salt, and pepper. Stir until everything is well incorporated.
- Place the halibut fillets in the prepared baking dish. Spread the garlic Parmesan mixture generously over each fillet.
- Bake in the preheated oven for 20-25 minutes, or until the fish flakes easily with a fork and the topping is golden brown.
- Remove from the oven and let cool for a couple of minutes before serving.
Notes
For added flavor, consider experimenting with fresh herbs or finishing under the broiler for a crunchier topping.
