Description

A quick and flavorful salmon dish glazed with brown sugar and garlic, perfect for busy weeknights or special occasions.

Ingredients

  • 4 salmon fillets (about 6 oz each)
  • 3 tablespoons brown sugar
  • 3 cloves garlic, minced
  • 2 tablespoons soy sauce
  • 1 tablespoon olive oil
  • 1 tablespoon lemon juice
  • 1/2 teaspoon black pepper
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt
  • 1/4 teaspoon crushed red pepper flakes (optional)
  • 2 tablespoons chopped fresh parsley (for garnish)

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 400°F (200°C) and line a baking sheet with parchment paper or lightly grease it.
  2. Combine brown sugar, minced garlic, soy sauce, olive oil, lemon juice, black pepper, salt, and crushed red pepper flakes (if using) in a small bowl.
  3. Brush the glaze generously over each salmon fillet placed skin-side down on the baking sheet.
  4. Bake in the preheated oven for 12-15 minutes, until the salmon flakes easily with a fork and the glaze is caramelized.
  5. Garnish with chopped fresh parsley before serving.

Notes

For more flavor, let the salmon marinate in the glaze for a few minutes before baking.
