Description

A creamy and flavorful salmon Alfredo pasta that brings warmth and joy to the dinner table, perfect for family gatherings.

Ingredients

  • 8 ounces fettuccine pasta
  • 2 tablespoons olive oil
  • 2 salmon fillets, skinless
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • 3 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 cup heavy cream
  • 1 cup grated Parmesan cheese
  • 1 tablespoon chopped fresh parsley (for garnish)

Instructions

  1. Cook the fettuccine pasta according to package instructions until al dente. Drain and set aside, saving a bit of pasta water for later.
  2. In a large skillet over medium heat, add olive oil. Season the salmon fillets with salt and pepper, then place them in the skillet.
  3. Cook for about 4-5 minutes on each side or until golden brown and cooked through. Remove from the skillet and flake into bite-sized pieces.
  4. In the same skillet, add minced garlic and sauté until fragrant.
  5. Pour in the heavy cream, stirring to combine. Simmer for a few minutes, then gradually whisk in the Parmesan cheese until the sauce becomes smooth and creamy.
  6. Toss the cooked fettuccine in the sauce, adding a splash of the reserved pasta water if needed to achieve your desired consistency.
  7. Fold in the flaked salmon gently, allowing the flavors to meld.
  8. Serve on warm plates and garnish with fresh parsley.

Notes

Use freshly grated Parmesan for richer flavor. Add lemon juice for brightness and consider incorporating herbs like basil or thyme.
