A simple yet impressive roasted red snapper recipe infused with fresh herbs and lemon.
Ingredients
- 1 whole red snapper, cleaned
- 2 tablespoons olive oil
- 1 lemon, sliced
- 3 cloves garlic, minced
- Salt and pepper to taste
- Fresh herbs (such as parsley or thyme) for garnish
Instructions
- Preheat your oven to 400°F (200°C).
- Rinse the red snapper under cold water and pat it dry with paper towels.
- Place the fish in a baking dish and drizzle with olive oil.
- Rub the minced garlic all over the fish, including inside the cavity.
- Season with salt and pepper, then stuff the cavity with lemon slices and herbs.
- Bake in the preheated oven for 20-25 minutes or until the fish is cooked through and flakes easily with a fork.
- Serve hot, garnished with additional herbs and lemon slices.
