Description

A simple yet delicious salmon dish with a savory and sweet maple glaze, perfect for busy weeknights.

Ingredients

  • 4 salmon fillets (total 1 lb)
  • 1/4 cup pure maple syrup
  • 3 tbsp soy sauce
  • 1 tbsp Dijon mustard
  • 2 garlic cloves, finely minced

Instructions

  1. Combine the maple syrup, soy sauce, Dijon mustard, and minced garlic in a bowl to create the glaze.
  2. Place the salmon fillets in a baking dish or on a hot skillet.
  3. Pour the glaze over the salmon, ensuring each piece is well coated.
  4. If using the oven, bake at 400°F for about 15-20 minutes or until cooked through. For stovetop, sear one side for about 5 minutes, then flip and cook another 4-5 minutes, basting with the remaining glaze.
  5. Remove from heat and let it rest for a few minutes before serving.

Notes

Baste the salmon while it cooks for enhanced flavor. Let salmon marinate in the glaze for at least 15 minutes before cooking for better taste.
