Description

Delicious shrimp tacos made in less than 30 minutes, bursting with flavor from smoked paprika and chipotle powder, perfect for busy weeknights.


Ingredients

  • 1 tablespoon avocado oil
  • 1/2 teaspoon ground coriander
  • 1/2 teaspoon chipotle powder
  • 8-10 medium-sized soft flour tortillas
  • 1 pound large shrimp, peeled and deveined
  • 1/2 teaspoon smoked paprika
  • 1/2 teaspoon garlic salt
  • 1/2 teaspoon onion flakes
  • 1 tablespoon lime juice


Instructions

  1. In a mixing bowl, toss the peeled shrimp with avocado oil, ground coriander, chipotle powder, smoked paprika, garlic salt, onion flakes, and lime juice until well-coated.
  2. Heat a skillet over medium-high heat. Add the shrimp mixture and cook for 2-3 minutes on each side until the shrimp turn pink and opaque.
  3. In a separate dry skillet, heat each tortilla for about 30 seconds on each side until warm and soft.
  4. Assemble the tacos by placing shrimp in the center of each tortilla, add desired toppings, and serve warm, optionally squeezing fresh lime on top.

Notes

Consider marinating shrimp for 15-30 minutes for added flavor. Don’t forget the lime juice for brightness.
