Delicious shrimp tacos made in less than 30 minutes, bursting with flavor from smoked paprika and chipotle powder, perfect for busy weeknights.
Ingredients
- 1 tablespoon avocado oil
- 1/2 teaspoon ground coriander
- 1/2 teaspoon chipotle powder
- 8-10 medium-sized soft flour tortillas
- 1 pound large shrimp, peeled and deveined
- 1/2 teaspoon smoked paprika
- 1/2 teaspoon garlic salt
- 1/2 teaspoon onion flakes
- 1 tablespoon lime juice
Instructions
- In a mixing bowl, toss the peeled shrimp with avocado oil, ground coriander, chipotle powder, smoked paprika, garlic salt, onion flakes, and lime juice until well-coated.
- Heat a skillet over medium-high heat. Add the shrimp mixture and cook for 2-3 minutes on each side until the shrimp turn pink and opaque.
- In a separate dry skillet, heat each tortilla for about 30 seconds on each side until warm and soft.
- Assemble the tacos by placing shrimp in the center of each tortilla, add desired toppings, and serve warm, optionally squeezing fresh lime on top.
Notes
Consider marinating shrimp for 15-30 minutes for added flavor. Don’t forget the lime juice for brightness.
