Description

Discover how to make deliciously crispy air fryer wings with this quick and easy dry rub recipe. Perfect for a flavorful and hassle-free snack!

Ingredients

  • 1 tablespoon brown sugar (15 ml)
  • 1 tablespoon sweet paprika (15 ml)
  • 1/2 tablespoon kosher salt (7.5 ml)
  • 1 teaspoon garlic powder (5 ml)
  • 1 teaspoon onion powder (5 ml)
  • 1 teaspoon poultry seasoning (5 ml)
  • 1/2 teaspoon mustard powder (2.5 ml)
  • 1/2 teaspoon ground black pepper (2.5 ml)
  • 8 chicken wings, or more as needed

Instructions

  1. Set the air fryer to heat up at 350 degrees F (175 degrees C).
  2. As it warms, combine the brown sugar, sweet paprika, kosher salt, garlic powder, onion powder, poultry seasoning, mustard powder, and ground black pepper in a big mixing bowl.
  3. Add the chicken wings, using your hands to thoroughly coat them with the spice blend.
  4. Place the seasoned wings in the air fryer basket, arranging them upright and leaning against one another and the sides of the basket.
  5. Allow them to cook in the preheated air fryer until they are fully cooked, with a tender inside and a crispy, golden exterior, which should take approximately 30 to 35 minutes. Move the wings to a serving plate and enjoy them while hot.

Notes

  • Marinate the chicken wings in the spice blend for at least 30 minutes before air frying for enhanced flavor.
  • Coat the wings evenly with the spice blend to ensure every bite is bursting with delicious seasoning.
  • Adjust the cooking time based on the size and thickness of the wings to ensure they are thoroughly cooked.
