Ingredients
- 5 medium potatoes, peeled and cut to 1-inch cubes (Yukon Gold works best)
- 1 tbsp (15 ml) vegetable oil
- 1/2 tsp (3 ml) sea salt
- 1/2 tsp (3 ml) smoked paprika
- 1/2 tsp (3 ml) garlic powder
- 1/4 tsp (1 ml) black ground pepper
Instructions
- Warm up your air fryer to 400°F for 2-3 minutes to ensure maximum crispiness for the potatoes.
- In the meantime, mix the diced potatoes with the oil and seasonings until they are well covered.
- Coat the air fryer basket with a nonstick spray. Place the seasoned potatoes inside and cook for roughly 15 minutes, making sure to shake the basket 2-3 times during cooking to ensure they cook evenly.
- Once done, move the potatoes to a serving dish and enjoy immediately.
Notes
- Consider enhancing the flavor by adding a sprinkle of grated Parmesan cheese or fresh herbs like parsley or chives before serving.
- For a spicy twist, incorporate a pinch of cayenne pepper or chili powder into the seasoning mix for added kick.
- Opt for olive oil instead of vegetable oil for a healthier alternative and a unique flavor profile.
