Delicious and healthier crab cakes made in an air fryer, offering rich flavor with minimal oil.
Ingredients
- 1 pound crab meat
- 1/2 cup breadcrumbs
- 1/4 cup mayonnaise
- 1/4 cup finely chopped green onions
- 1 egg
- 1 tablespoon Dijon mustard
- 1 teaspoon Worcestershire sauce
- 1/2 teaspoon Old Bay seasoning
- Salt and pepper to taste
- Olive oil spray
Instructions
- Mix together the crab meat, breadcrumbs, mayonnaise, green onions, egg, Dijon mustard, Worcestershire sauce, Old Bay seasoning, salt, and pepper until well combined.
- Form the mixture into small patties.
- Preheat the air fryer to 375°F (190°C).
- Spray the air fryer basket with olive oil.
- Place the crab cakes in the basket in a single layer and spray the tops lightly with olive oil.
- Cook for 10–12 minutes, flipping halfway through, until golden brown and crispy.
- Serve with your favorite dipping sauce.
Notes
Use fresh crab meat for the best flavor. Adjust seasoning and add hot sauce for a kick if desired.
