Description

Learn how to make delicious quick air fryer carrots and potatoes with this easy recipe. Crispy on the outside, soft on the inside, a perfect side dish!

Ingredients

  • 454g Beef, diced (1 lb)
  • 454g Carrots, sliced (1 lb)
  • 2 Tbsp (32g) Olive Oil, divided
  • 1 Tbsp (12g) Sugar
  • 2 tsp (10 ml) Smoked Paprika
  • 1 tsp (5 ml) Garlic Powder
  • 1 tsp (5 ml) Sea Salt
  • 1/2 tsp (3 ml) Black Pepper
  • 1/2 tsp (3 ml) Dried Oregano
  • 1/4 tsp (1 ml) Ground Thyme

Instructions

  1. Coat the carrots with 1 tablespoon of olive oil and place them in the air fryer for 15 minutes at 400ºF.
  2. While the carrots are cooking, combine all the dry spices in a small bowl.
  3. After the initial cooking period, return the carrots to the mixing bowl and add another tablespoon of olive oil, ensuring even coverage before sprinkling with the spice mixture. Mix thoroughly.
  4. Return the coated carrots to the air fryer and cook for an additional 10-12 minutes at 400ºF until they become tender. If desired, shake and continue cooking in short bursts for extra caramelization.

Notes

  • For a more robust flavor, swap water for beef broth when coating the carrots in olive oil.
  • Try mixing rosemary and thyme for a unique herb blend to season the carrots.
  • Drizzle honey over the carrots before serving for a touch of sweetness.
