Ingredients
- 2 slices of bread
- 1/2 cup shredded cheese (cheddar, mozzarella, or your choice)
- 2 tablespoons of pesto
- Butter or olive oil for grilling
Instructions
- Spread pesto on one side of each bread slice.
- Place the unbuttered side of one slice down and add a generous handful of shredded cheese.
- Top with the other slice of bread, pesto side down.
- Heat a skillet over medium heat and add butter or olive oil.
- Carefully place your sandwich in the skillet and grill for 3-4 minutes per side, until golden brown and cheese is melted.
- Remove from heat and cut in half.
- Serve warm and enjoy!
Notes
For a crispier sandwich, increase grilling time slightly. Experiment with additional fillings like tomatoes or spinach for extra flavor.
