Description

A delightful twist on the classic grilled cheese, featuring aromatic pesto and melty cheese for a quick and satisfying meal.


Ingredients

  • 2 slices of bread
  • 1/2 cup shredded cheese (cheddar, mozzarella, or your choice)
  • 2 tablespoons of pesto
  • Butter or olive oil for grilling


Instructions

  1. Spread pesto on one side of each bread slice.
  2. Place the unbuttered side of one slice down and add a generous handful of shredded cheese.
  3. Top with the other slice of bread, pesto side down.
  4. Heat a skillet over medium heat and add butter or olive oil.
  5. Carefully place your sandwich in the skillet and grill for 3-4 minutes per side, until golden brown and cheese is melted.
  6. Remove from heat and cut in half.
