Description

A refreshing crab salad that captures the essence of summer with lump crab meat, fresh vegetables, and a creamy dressing.

Ingredients

  • 1 pound lump crab meat (or imitation)
  • 1 cup real mayonnaise
  • ½ cup diced celery
  • ¼ cup diced red onion
  • 1 tablespoon fresh lemon juice
  • 1 teaspoon Old Bay seasoning
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • Fresh parsley for garnish

Instructions

  1. Begin by draining any liquid from your crab meat. Chop the meat into small, bite-sized pieces.
  2. Dice your celery and red onions very finely.
  3. In a bowl, whisk together the mayonnaise and lemon juice, then stir in the Old Bay seasoning.
  4. Fold the crab and diced vegetables into the dressing. Season with salt and pepper to taste.
  5. Cover and refrigerate for at least one hour to allow the flavors to meld.
  6. Serve garnished with fresh parsley.

Notes

For added flavor, consider incorporating a dash of hot sauce or Worcestershire sauce. Make ahead of time for the best flavor.
