Ingredients
- – olive oil spray (for greasing)
- – 4 salmon fillets, skin removed, about 140 g each
- – 1/2 lemon
- – 1/4 teaspoon (1 ml) salt
- – freshly ground black pepper
- – 3 tablespoons (45 ml) mayonnaise
- – 6 fresh basil leaves, minced, plus more for garnish
- – 3 tablespoons (45 ml) grated Parmesan or Romano cheese
Instructions
- Warm up the air fryer to 400°F. Lightly coat the basket with olive oil spray.
- Drizzle the salmon with lemon juice and season with salt and freshly ground black pepper.
- In a small bowl, combine mayonnaise, minced basil, and 2 tablespoons of Parmesan cheese.
- Evenly coat the top of the salmon with this mixture. Add the remaining Parmesan cheese on top.
- Cook in the air fryer for 7 minutes, or adjust the time for thicker fillets.
- Set the oven to 425°F. Lightly coat a sheet pan with olive oil spray.
- Drizzle the salmon with lemon juice and season with salt and freshly ground black pepper.
- In a small bowl, combine mayonnaise, minced basil, and 2 tablespoons of Parmesan cheese.
- Evenly coat the top of the salmon with this mixture. Add the remaining Parmesan cheese on top.
- Place in the oven and bake for 10 to 12 minutes, adjusting based on the thickness of the salmon.
