Instructions
- Season salmon fillets with a generous amount of salt and pepper on both sides for a flavor boost.
- Heat olive oil in your skillet over medium-high heat; the oil should shimmer when ready.
- Place the salmon fillets skin-side down in the pan and cook for approximately 4-5 minutes, allowing the skin to crisp up beautifully.
- Once the skin achieves the desired crispy texture, carefully flip the salmon fillets using a spatula. Add the butter and minced garlic into the pan at this time.
- Continue to cook for another 4-5 minutes until the salmon is cooked through and flakes easily with a fork.
