Ingredients
- 12 oysters on the half shell
- 1/2 cup butter, melted
- 1 cup chopped spinach
- 1/4 cup chopped green onions
- 1/4 cup breadcrumbs
- 1/4 cup grated Parmesan cheese
- 1 tablespoon Worcestershire sauce
- 1 tablespoon lemon juice
- Salt and pepper to taste
- Fresh parsley for garnish
Instructions
- Preheat the oven to 450°F (232°C).
- In a skillet, melt the butter over medium heat.
- Add the chopped spinach and green onions, cooking until softened.
- Stir in Worcestershire sauce, lemon juice, salt, and pepper, cooking for an additional minute.
- Remove from heat and stir in breadcrumbs and Parmesan cheese.
- Place oysters on a baking sheet and spoon the spinach mixture over each oyster.
- Bake in the preheated oven for 10-12 minutes until the topping is golden.
- Garnish with freshly chopped parsley and serve hot.
